Vaping Gets UGLY

A city program partnering with the Daily’s convenience store chain raising awareness of the increasing danger posed to teens from vaping. With Daily’s contributing $100,000 to the campaign, and the city is matching the funds.

ANTI-VAPING CAMPAIGN

Acuity Design Group led an anti-vaping campaign for the City of Jacksonville, targeting Generation Z to reduce teen vaping. The campaign began with comprehensive brand development to create a recognizable and impactful identity. By crafting messaging and visuals that aligned with Gen Z's values and interests, the campaign highlighted the dangers of vaping while promoting healthy choices. ADG ensured the brand reflected the seriousness of the issue, while maintaining an engaging and relatable tone. Graphic design played a key role, with visually striking materials such as social media graphics, posters, infographics, and daily updates designed to grab attention. Bold colors, modern typography, and compelling imagery were used to reinforce the campaign's anti-vaping message.

Research served as the backbone of the campaign, guiding strategic decisions and ensuring the messaging resonated with its target audience. ADG conducted in-depth research to understand Gen Z's attitudes towards vaping, their media consumption habits, and the most effective communication channels. Armed with these insights, ADG employed a multi-channel approach, using social media, influencer partnerships, targeted ads, and daily content updates to connect with teens where they were most active. In addition, ADG organized events, workshops, and school presentations to engage teens directly, providing the information and resources necessary to make informed decisions about vaping. By integrating brand development, graphic design, research, daily communications, and outreach, ADG delivered a powerful anti-vaping campaign that resonated with Generation Z and effectively combated teen vaping in Jacksonville.
